Getting Rid of Stress?

There’s a lot of conversation about getting rid of stress–in fact, hands down, it’s the number 1 reason people sign up for my Soul-Powered Breakthrough Program. But I want to propose thinking about stress in a different way.

What if you define stress as something useful, instead of something to be cured?

Think of stress as a useful way of monitoring when your way of dealing with problems isn’t working well. Stress can be an indication that it’s time to think of more creative ways to cope.
When you realize you’re feeling stressed, let that feeling serve as a reminder to you to do something different. Think of the smallest change you can make that would help alleviate your stress (and implement it!)

When we are no longer able to change a situation,
we are challenged to change ourselves. –Victor Frankl

Try This

And here’s another super easy stress-relieving tip from Dr. Alice Domar: Sit down, breathe deeply and count down from 10, one breath per count. No matter where you are or what you’re doing, you can always do this mini-relaxation moment.

Remember, when you change the way you respond to stress, you can change everything.
