How to Use a Gratitude Jar

Gratitude Jar filled with slips of paper marking memorable moments throughout the year

Cultivating Gratitude

I’ve been doing this New Year’s tradition for many years now.

Take an empty jar and keep track of all the small and large pleasures, meaningful moments, and accomplishments throughout the year by writing each one on a slip of paper as they occur.

At the end of the year you can take out all of the pieces of paper and review the highlights of your year.

It’s such a nice, concrete way to reflect on all the good from the past year. Let me know if you try it…
