What is Reiki?

Reiki is a hands-on healing technique from Japan and means “transcendent life force.” The practice of Reiki guides this “Ki,” or energy, that is a part of every living thing.

Reiki promotes balance and wellness. The system of Reiki is all about feeling at peace, at ease in your mind and body. You can receive a Reiki session, or take a class to learn to practice Reiki on yourself (many people like to do both!).

How Does Reiki Work?

During a Reiki session, Deborah gently places her hands in various positions on or above you, acting as a channel for the Reiki (or Ki) to move through, clearing and strengthening the meridians and energy throughout your body according to what you need. Clients often experience a deep feeling of relaxation and connection to their intuition.

Reiki is a mindfulness meditation practice: simple to learn and practice, and a key aspect of Reiki is daily self treatment (or giving yourself a mini-Reiki session every day.)
